 The Winged Steam Locomotive is a powerful steam engine introduced in the [[Trains Urban Update|Urban Update]]. Born of the east, it charges through fields and mountains with a striking design and strong hauling performance. ## **Functionality** The locomotive uses [coal](https://minecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Coal) as its fuel. It can haul up to twenty cars and has a weight of 'one'. It performs similarly to the [[Steam Engine (Locomotive)|Basic Steam Locomotive]] but features a longer body and improved hauling capability. ## **Interaction** Players can open the throttle menu by interacting while riding or by crouching and interacting on foot. The engine supports dye colours, coupling, horn activation by jumping, and automatic refuelling when a [[Coal Tender|Coal Tender]] is directly behind it. ## **Obtaining** ### Crafting Place the cab frame in the top left, the iron ingot in the top middle, and the bucket in the top right. Place a block of iron on the middle left and a steam boiler in the middle and middle right. Then place the trucks on the bottom left and bottom right with the piston in the bottom middle.
